How HelpGizmo rescued me from a rainforest of pure chaos

I don’t know how many documents I have on my computer. What I can tell you is the important documents are always filed in their own folder strategically titled to point me in the right direction the next time I need to find it. Organized, right? Well, in theory this “organizing” should all work perfectly. The reality is that I go through this process every time; it doesn’t work for me in the least.

Now granted, I’m over 30 and my memory could use a little boost; I’m NOT crazy though (despite what some of my co-workers might tell you)! It doesn’t matter how carefully I’ve placed my documents, I can never find them when I need them! Call it what you will (Sabrina’s losing her mind or Murphy’s Law). Personally, I really think there are devious little trolls in my computer—that’s a blog for another day.

HelpGizmo to the Rescue!

So anyway, about a month ago Marybeth (the Help Goddess of HelpGizmo) and Pete (the HelpGizmo Sheriff), came to me with something that would change my work life forever (I’m not exaggerating!). They promised that my days of trudging through the rainforests of files and folders would soon be over. They were going to throw me a rope to escape from the chaos I’d been stuck in for so long. So, my opportunity came and they made good on their promise. Now, it’s all like a distant memory.  Thank goodness!

After climbing up that rope, Marybeth, Pete and I stood on a high mountain overlooking the rainforest of data I needed to share. From up there, it all looked so simple. That’s when I got the courage to jump into the HelpGizmo software headfirst.

The software was friendly–it held my hand and helped me to create a branded Employee Toolbox so everyone who works at SurveyGizmo could access the documents I uploaded. I added benefits information, review forms, tips on making coffee (so that everyone enjoys it), and some great articles on communication, happiness, and a plethora of other topics. I’ve even embedded a SurveyGizmo survey to gauge employee happiness.

The Calm and Organized Present

Jumping forward to the present, everything is now neatly categorized and, the best part, I can find documents easily and everyone else can find them too! Yippee!

Now that I’ve worked with HelpGizmo for a while, I can see many uses for it. If you are in HR and need a central place for your employees to access information or in customer support and you want your support agents to be able document and look up solutions to various problems, HelpGizmo is your answer!  In fact, any time you are looking to document, organize, and share your information, HelpGizmo will be the life raft needed to save everybody from drowning in a sea of information. It also doesn’t hurt that Marybeth and Pete are AMAZING helpers and are always willing to throw you a rope if you need anything.
